Even in this day and age, people find filing PIL cumbersome, there is a lack of awareness among the public about the PIL and its benefits. Consequently, a large section of society is unable to access the PIL mechanism, which undermines its potential as an instrument of social change.  Sree Krishna Seelam's book, "PIL: Power, Purpose, and People's Rights," serves as a comprehensive guide for individuals eager to harness this legal mechanism to effect meaningful change. This book is even accessible to readers like me, who aren't from a legal background, as it offers a step by step guide along with personal anecdotes and practical usage in real life.
